Graduation Requirements
Bishop Watterson Requirements
Our graduation requirements exceed the minimum standards of the state of Ohio and include the theology requirements befitting a Catholic school. Each student Is required to pursue a course of study encompassing core courses, physical education and health, and the visual/performing arts and is offered a variety of electives. The electives enhance the individual student’s skills and interests and specific areas including art, music, computer science, industrial technology, business and family and consumer science.

Theology | 4 years including Sophomore Service Training Program and a Junior Retreat and Senior Urban Plunge |

Health | 1/2 credit (completed in the 9th grade) |
Physical Education | 1/2 credit (completed by end of 10th) |
Financial Literacy | 1/2 credit |
Electives | 3 credits |
Total Credits | 26 1/2 |
State of Ohio Requirements
Bishop Watterson tracks each student’s progress toward meeting the state graduation requirements and will communicate annually with students and parents about each student’s current progress.
